Job Description:

To grow awareness, engagement, and fundraising activity within our communities and corporate partners in support of our Big Bases Appeal – an ambitious capital appeal to create two new air ambulance bases. This predominantly desk-based role is responsible for developing and stewarding new and existing relationships with community groups, organisations, corporates, volunteers, and individual supporters. By delivering excellent stewardship, the role will inspire and empower supporters to maximise their fundraising potential, ensuring they feel valued and connected to the impact of their support on the success of the Appeal.

Job Responsibility:

  • Grow awareness, engagement, and fundraising activity within communities and corporate partners in support of the Big Bases Appeal
  • Develop and steward new and existing relationships with community groups, organisations, corporates, volunteers, and individual supporters
  • Deliver excellent stewardship to inspire and empower supporters to maximise their fundraising potential
  • Ensure supporters feel valued and connected to the impact of their support on the success of the Appeal
  • Hold compliance responsibilities for Health & Safety and Environment, Safeguarding, Data Protection, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, and Quality

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in creating new and building on existing relationships with the ability to spot potential opportunities for support to maximise income
  • Good communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of supporters, delivering exceptional customer service
  • Experience of working collaboratively to achieve departmental and wider organisational objectives
  • Competent at providing high-quality supporter care and stewardship
  • A proactive and positive approach with the ability to use initiative whilst working within set guidelines
