We are delighted to be recruiting for a new Community Safety Officer to join our friendly team on a permanent basis. We're building a new team and it's an exciting time to join and be a part of it. You'll be working with a challenging and varied caseload. No two days in this post will be the same as you'll take a proactive approach to tackling anti-social behaviour by carrying out investigative, preventative and enforcement activities, as well as initiating and supporting community projects that help to minimise and prevent such behaviour. You'll also be progressing legal matters through the court process, responding to a range of safeguarding issues as well as supporting victims of domestic abuse. The role requires you to proactively build relationships with colleagues across internal teams and external agencies, attending multi-agency meetings as required. You'll need to undertake regular visits to customers in their homes and the wider neighbourhoods for which appropriate mileage will be paid. For this position you will need have access to your own transport so a full UK driving license is essential. We have an agile working approach with an expectation colleagues work together at an office 2 days per week, with flexibility for community-based roles.

Requirements:
