Job Description:

Shropshire Council is looking to appoint a Community Safety Co ordinator to support the delivery of community safety priorities across the county and contribute to improving outcomes for local communities. You will work as part of the Shropshire Safeguarding Community Partnership (SSCP) Team, supporting the co ordination of partnership activity across community safety, safeguarding and related agendas. The role will involve close working with council services, police, health partners, voluntary and community organisations, and local communities.

  • The role requires flexible working, the hours will be generally within the hours of 7am – 10pm 7 days a week
  • To undertake any other duties that are deemed necessary by the Team Leader/Registered Manager
  • To have awareness and understanding relating to assistance technology and a willing to assist with its implementation
  • Medication administration and collection as required
