Job Description:

We are delighted to be recruiting for a new Community Safety Assistant to join our team. You'll be working on various tasks to support our busy team and to enable them to work out and about in the community, with customers. From coordinating CCTV requests that support police investigations to carrying out desktop research and compiling brief reports that assist the team who attend multi-agency meetings, no two days in this post will be the same.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the busy team to enable them to work out and about in the community
  • Coordinate CCTV requests that support police investigations
  • Carry out desktop research and compile brief reports that assist the team who attend multi-agency meetings
  • Pull chronologies together for legal action
  • Raise urgent repairs
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure the swift delivery of appropriate safety items to customers (such as window alarms)
  • Proactively build relationships with key colleagues and teams across the Group
  • Demonstrate our Values and Behaviours
  • Support customers that upload noise reports via the Noise App
  • Assess incoming noise reports or other evidence to help the Community Safety Officers as required
  • Attend team meetings, collaborate with colleagues and attend training at the local office
  • Attend other offices on an ad-hoc basis
  • Work from home as part of agile working
