Job Description:

The City of Chandler Neighborhood Resources Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Community Resources Representative. The position is scheduled to work 5 days, 8 hours.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides the first impression of the City’s Housing and Redevelopment Division
  • Provide outstanding customer service to clients of all income levels and backgrounds
  • Provide information regarding the City’s assisted housing waiting lists and programs
  • Help residents in crisis and those looking for housing resources
  • Provide general administrative support to departmental staff

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of general clerical experience
  • a valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work

Nice to have:

  • Spanish speaking preferred
  • Previous job experience in a front facing customer service position interacting with customers with diverse backgrounds
