We provide both individual and group interventions and there is a plethora of training and support opportunities available to our staff members.
Job Responsibility:
To be responsible for the assessment and management of casework of service users who have substantial and complex needs
To deliver evidenced based Clinical and Psychologically based Interventions
Coordinate Treatment Planning & Interventions, Reviews and Discharge Planning
To complete duty days supporting the CTT when other clinicians are not available
Working alongside other agencies to support services users with integrating into the community and supporting their biopsychosocial needs
Requirements:
Professional Qualification and current Professional Registration as, a First Level Registered Nurse (RNMH, RMN, RNLD) or equivalent as an AHP, Social Worker or Clinical Psychologist
Mentor Training
Evidence of post-registration training in clinical/ psychological interventions / skills relevant to the post
Proven track record of post registration clinical experience relevant to the post
Training in Safeguarding, MAPPA (Multi Agency Panel for the Protection of Vulnerable Adults) and Child Protection
Up-to-date knowledge/experience of relevant legislation
Awareness and understanding of professional accountability, NMC standards and other local and national initiatives
12 to 24 month band 5 qualified nurse experience dependent upon service need
Knowledge of evidence based interventions such as Structured Clinical Management, CBT, Family Interventions
Adaptability, flexibility, excellent communication skills and commitment to multi-agency team work
Ability to provide evidence based therapeutic interventions
comprehensive skills for continuous assessment of risks/safety planning skills
proven ability to carry out and provide comprehensive written assessments of individuals with complex mental health needs
Ability to work autonomously and within a team
Evidence of a high level of professional, organisational and leadership skills (self & others)
Nice to have:
Knowledge of evidence based treatments for psychosis and non psychosis
Experience of working within a community mental health setting
Clinical leadership
Experience of working within a community mental health setting
Knowledge of other services which link to community services including voluntary and statutory agencies
Training & Induction of staff
Teaching/Presentation skills
