The Community Pastor for Life.Church Online is primarily responsible for leading and multiplying a global digital community that connects people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. This role recruits, develops, and supports LifeGroup leaders and mentors worldwide, creating scalable systems for discipleship, care, and missional impact. The Community Pastor champions community, mobilizes volunteers, and innovates outreach strategies, from salvation follow-up to global partnerships. This role is responsible for pastoral care and leadership of attenders and volunteers, in addition to supporting the operational and pastoral efforts of their ministry and campus to outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop LifeGroup leaders
  • Recruit new LifeGroup leaders around the world and build community around them
  • Oversee the onboarding and training of LifeGroup leaders and volunteers
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver training and development resources for LifeGroup leaders
  • Develop a leadership structure for LifeGroup leaders to identify and develop passionate leaders
  • Review leadership structure and other developmental tools to determine LifeGroup leader progress, moving the leader forward as needed
  • Support Missions initiatives
  • Champion the cause for community and connect attenders to leaders and mentoring relationships
  • Resource LifeGroup leaders, coaches, mentors, and attenders with development tools, applicable content, and trainings
  • Develop ways to mobilize volunteers and resources to provide relief and restoration to the local community
  • Partner with local campuses to connect our attenders within proximity to a physical campus and their local mission partners
  • Scale ministry structures for excellent care

Requirements:

  • Ability to resolve conflicts, make independent decisions and maintain composure during stressful situations
  • Strong leadership skills and understanding on developing and guiding others
  • Maintain flexibility and initiate processes and projects while exemplifying a high level of customer service
  • Effective at multi-tasking, time management, and following up on delegated tasks
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated messages in a concise and simple way
  • Strong understanding of God’s Word, biblical truths, and a demonstrated passion for leading people to become fully devoted followers of Christ
  • Ability to leverage technology and automations to create effective scalable systems
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of related work experience
  • Pastoral and/or technical experience preferred
