The Community Partnerships Associate will focus on building and sustaining long-term relationships with key community organizations, local non-profits, and neighborhood stakeholders in Nashville. In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between the city’s grassroots communities, local organizations, and Spin’s internal Government Partnerships team. Your goal is to ensure that our operations are not only compliant but deeply integrated and supported by the communities we serve, facilitating social initiatives and innovative local projects that enhance the Spin’s brand.
Job Responsibility:
Strengthen and manage daily relationships with community leaders, neighborhood associations, and local organizations to align Spin’s operational goals with community expectations
Serve as the primary liaison between local community stakeholders and the internal Government Partnerships team to ensure grassroots feedback is integrated into our broader city strategy
Identify and secure strategic local partnerships that advocate for shared mobility programs, helping to build a positive reputation that supports future operating permits and competitive RfPs
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Marketing to design and execute community-led initiatives that address local concerns and promote equitable access to our services
Build a close relationship with the Nashville Operations team to prioritize community-driven opportunities that improve the local regulatory and social environment for our fleet
Represent the company at community meetings, local events, and town halls, acting as the frontline advocate for our mission of sustainable and inclusive mobility
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field
3+ years of experience in community organizing, government relations, or non-profit partnership management
Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with diverse community stakeholders
Excellent verbal communication, public speaking, and presentation skills
Strong ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate cross-functionally
Deep understanding of local community dynamics and grassroots engagement
Ability to travel locally in Nashville
Nice to have:
Experience working in the Nashville metro area is preferred
