Job Description:

We are recruiting an experienced Band 5 Registered General Nurse (Community Nurse) to join a busy and supportive NHS community team in Stafford. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with community or district nursing experience who are looking for a stable, full time assignment.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering high quality community nursing care across Stafford
Assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients with varying clinical needs
Supporting wound care, dressings, catheter care, medication administration, and general community interventions
Liaising with the wider MDT to ensure safe continuity of care
Working independently while contributing to a supportive community team

Requirements:

NMC registration
District Nursing and/or Community Nursing experience
Confident working autonomously in patients’ homes and community settings
Able to manage a varied caseload, including wound care, injections, long term condition management, and general community assessments
Strong communication and documentation skills
Car driver with access to a vehicle is preferred
