Job Description:

The City of Chandler Neighborhood Resources Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Community Navigator (Full-time, Limited Duration). This position serves at the discretion of the department director. The position is scheduled to work Sun - Wed, 9am - 7:30 pm, 10 x 4.

Job Responsibility:

Identifies, engages and supports individuals and families experiencing unsheltered homelessness through outreach and referrals from public safety and other partners, with the goal of facilitating access to housing, services and resources to end their homelessness

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of progressively responsible experience working with people experiencing homelessness, mental illness or addiction
  • a valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work

  • Ensure the day-to-day operations of a high-profile high-rise building, ensuring that all building operations and maintenance services are effectively delivered, and facility needs are met, including preventive maintenance, life-safety, engineering, and general maintenance
