Job Responsibility:

Sit within assigned bank branches and originate mortgage loans
collaborate with branch leadership, participate in branch huddles, mentor and coach employees
conduct outbound calls to existing and prospective customers regarding mortgage loan products
interact with customers to understand their needs and provide high quality customer service
inform prospective and existing customers of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage programs
analyze and offer mortgage loan products based on client needs
process low to moderately complex loan applications for mortgage transactions and review rates and terms
ensure timely and proactive customer communication
collaborate with fulfillment partners to meet client needs throughout the origination process
adhere to policies, underwriting requirements, compliance requirements, and loan procedures

Requirements:

2+ years of sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
SAFE registration at the time of employment
compliance with Wells Fargo policies and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements
meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards
ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening if necessary

Nice to have:

Knowledge of mortgage industry trends and developments in the assigned market
ability to mentor and coach employees
proficiency with Wells Fargo training offerings
