We are currently looking for a Community Manager to join the Madrid Secreto team. Working within a fun, dynamic and fast-growing business, this new role provides an excellent opportunity for digital experts to showcase their skills to a large and highly engaged audience.
Job Responsibility:
Improve and manage our international communities providing high quality and engaging content
Drive the audience growth and engagement across multiple social platforms by creating and scheduling content, tracking down suitable 3rd party content and track its performance
Work with senior members of the team to schedule and promote editorial and sponsored content across all platforms
Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, and community inquiries promptly and professionally
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies and maintain Secret Media Network editorial voice in headlines and copywriting across multiple verticals and platforms
Complete timely qualitative and quantitative analysis / reporting to improve our proposal
Searching for funny, inspiring and/or wholesome visual content (videos, images, memes, etc) from third-party content creators to share to our sites and social channels and help implementing new digital formats & channels
Manage instagram threads and broadcast channels and coordinate and execute community engagement activities such as giveaways and interactive posts
Organize and maintain the content calendar to ensure a consistent and timely content flow
Requirements:
Native Spanish and professional English are required
Has a knack for all things social—knowing all the right places to look for killer content
Creative thinking and ability to produce engaging content
Has experience running social media accounts for a newsroom, agency, or brand
Stays up-to-date with the latest digital technology trends, and has a good feel for what makes content popular online
Can demonstrate their ability to adapt to the extremely fast-moving world of a digital business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Has experience with social media tools like Creator Studio, Later and similar
Is able to identify and track relevant KPIs
You've experienced and loved Madrid and its surroundings. You know the best places in the city, the lingo, the culture, and the local mindset
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Pays attention to detail, is a critical-thinker and problem-solver
Loves being part of a dynamic team in a growing company and is able to work in a team towards a shared goal
Is flexible! We’re a newsroom, and breaking news is always on the horizon. No two days are the same, and things can be unpredictable – we need someone who is happy to drop what they’re doing to cover the latest scoop wherever necessary (no panic: work-life balance is a must)
Nice to have:
A Canva master and pro-editor of short-engaging videos
Experience with design/edit tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut, etc.in App edit tools) is a plus
Facebook Ads and other social paid platforms are a plus
We may need you on-site! Cover events, get in front of the camera, elaborate scripts, creative ideas, interviews, organic themes, brands creative solutions, voice over for reels
