As a Community Manager for Secret Media Network in Sydney, you will be responsible for growing and engaging audiences across multiple channels, creating and managing high-quality social media content, aligning campaigns with strategy, and building relationships with customers and influencers. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical proficiency with tools such as Canva and social media platforms, and an analytical mindset to measure and improve performance. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team in a hybrid model, driving Fever’s mission to democratize access to culture and entertainment.
Job Responsibility:
Drive audience growth and engagement across multiple Secret Sydney social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Threads by scheduling content, writing copy, and monitoring performance
create high-quality, engaging text and visual content for social media accounts
evaluate and develop local/regional content strategy for the audience
plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies
monitor, track, analyze, and report on social media platform performance
stay current with social media trends and source content accordingly
ensure alignment of marketing and social media campaigns with communication strategy
optimize posts for engagement and search
maintain editorial voice in headlines and copywriting across platforms
build and strengthen relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals, and influencers
create new digital deals and partnerships
collaborate with Social Media Teams and Editorial Executives to schedule and promote editorial-sponsored content
complete qualitative and quantitative analysis/reporting to improve performance
conduct research, gather insights, and evaluate trends for adaptation.
Requirements:
Proficiency in both written and spoken English
knowledge of other languages is a plus
passionate about Digital Marketing with a degree or equivalent experience focusing on digital portfolio projects
stays up-to-date with digital technology trends
strong understanding of digital media trends with good feel for what makes content popular online
proficient in Canva
skilled in editing short-engaging videos
familiar with social media tools like Creators Studio, Storrito, Later
experience with design/editing tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut is a plus
excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities
attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
proactive entrepreneur mindset with a proactive approach, ownership mentality, and effective team communication
flexibility to handle newsroom demands with breaking news.
