Our team is looking for someone takes take prides in being the pulse of a brand social account. This role starts being a community manager; but you’ll be far more than that. We need a community igniter, a community jester, a community member. You’ll be deep in the comments sections & replies as a brand admin. You’ll be identifying trending topics that become into opportunities for brands. You’ll schedule posts in advance, then report back on their stats. Every part of the operation goes through you.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Reddit) and engage with followers in an authentic, platform specific way and within established brand tone of voice
Identify trends and opportunities for Chemistry to create content for our clients (in collaboration with social strategists and creatives) that will resonate with followers and/or has potential to pick up PR coverage
Develop quick-turn social responses that leverage copy, memes, gifs or emojis
Publish and schedule content through social media management platform and own the content calendar
identify optimization opportunities and apply them to the publishing cadence
Responsible for cultivating a community across a brand’s social channels and acting as the expert on the community’s needs and interests
Lead community-focused tactics including surprise and delight initiatives, influencer responses, and UGC
Support social media performance reports as needed, in collaboration with Media & Analytics
Act as a resource for creative teams on social specs and guidance
Collaborate closely with a social strategists on social creative briefs and optimize the social strategy or approach across all channels, as needed. Partner with social strategists channel POVs, competitive audits, etc.
Requirements:
Strong writing skills that can adapt to an established brand voice on each social platform
A passion for social media and internet culture and a love for the fast-paced nature of social
Expertise of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube)
A combination of analytical skills, curiosity, and a strong interest in people
Creativity and imagination
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The willingness to experiment on social
1-3 years of experience in community management at a brand and/or social, digital, or creative agency, with clear demonstrations of social expertise
