The Community Impact Administrator will support the grant making and partnership management processes by managing databases and coordinating departmental reports, as well as provide administrative support to Community Impact directors and volunteer Councils and Committees as assigned, including budgeting/accounting support, volunteer support, meeting support, contract management, grant pipeline and reporting, and management of special initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the e-C Impact database
Administrative Support for Community Impact department
Project & Grant Management
Support and attend UWM events, trainings, professional development, and fundraising activities
Support special community projects such as program evaluations, community impact planning, and promotion of UWM work in the community
Requirements:
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once with effective task prioritization and time management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Database management experience or training
Ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal and working relationships with various publics
Ability to develop and maintain records of group activity
Work independently as a member of an impact team
Proficient in MS Office software, such as Excel and Teams
Bachelor’s degree or relevant education and experience in a related field
Nice to have:
Project management experience or training
Grant-writing experience or training
Data analysis experience or training with the ability to build queries and generate reports
Previous non-profit, government, foundation, board, volunteer management, and/or United Way experience
