Job Description:

Community Fundraising Executive to support the Fundraising Team. Our Community Fundraisers are the face of the charity and do vital work, spreading awareness and bringing in funds that enable us to save lives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Works closely with the National Community Fundraising Manager to deliver short and mid-term strategic plans and priorities for the function
  • Responsible for growing community awareness of the charity and driving fundraising activity across the region to meet income targets
  • Proactively seeking out and creating new opportunities and relationships
  • Generating and building relationships with community groups, organisations, volunteers and supporters
  • Identifying new opportunities and leads within the region that will generate new income streams for the charity
  • Presenting to local organisations and groups within the region
  • Compliance responsibilities for Health & Safety and Environment, Safeguarding, Data Protection, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, Quality

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable evidence of behaviour in line with the core values of TAAS throughout career to date
  • Collaborative approach to achieving departmental and wider organisational objectives
  • Passion for the work that TAAS does
  • A flexible approach to allow adaptability to the changing needs of the organisation
  • Experience as a fundraiser within a charity or a sales environment
  • Comfortable approaching new business opportunities, raising awareness and generating leads
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a database effectively

  • Ability to meet and exceed income targets
