Job Description:

Help grow and support our vibrant community of fundraisers, event participants and local supporters. This is an exciting, hands-on role at the heart of our fundraising team, helping to deliver creative events and meaningful supporter experiences that raise vital funds for Isabel Hospice.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinating and supporting a varied programme of community and third-party fundraising events
  • Working with supporters to help them plan safe, successful and enjoyable fundraising activities
  • Building strong relationships with local groups, schools, organisations and individuals
  • Helping recruit and support community ambassadors and fundraising groups
  • Delivering excellent supporter stewardship, from first contact through to thank you and follow-up
  • Working with our marketing team to promote campaigns and share inspiring stories
  • Identifying new opportunities and fresh ideas to grow community income
  • Maintaining accurate supporter records on our database in line with GDPR
  • Be a visible ambassador for Isabel Hospice, representing our values

Requirements:

  • Organised, enthusiastic and confident coordinating events or projects
  • A natural relationship builder who enjoys talking to people from all walks of life
  • A strong communicator, both in writing and on the phone
  • Proactive, creative and full of ideas
  • Comfortable managing a varied workload and juggling different priorities
  • IT confident, with experience using databases or CRM systems
  • Experience in fundraising, events, or a customer-facing role would be ideal
