Job Description:

As a specialist Chemotherapy Nurse, you will be caring for patients referred privately and by the NHS, who will receive cancer treatments in the comfort of their own homes. This is an extremely rewarding role where you can truly make a positive impact on patients' lives. There is a highly desirable shift pattern which be worked between core hours Monday to Friday. If successful, you will be given a comprehensive induction where you will meet your line manager, complete mandatory training, learn the company's way of working and be provided with all equipment and uniform.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administering chemotherapy treatments with the utmost care and professionalism
  • Educating and supporting patients on how to self-administer their medications
  • Providing ongoing patient assessment and care, ensuring comfort and emotional support
  • Using your clinical expertise to deliver high-quality care, promoting patient well-being and a positive treatment experience

Requirements:

  • Qualified Nurse with NMC Registration
  • Strong venepuncture and cannulation skills
  • Recent experience administering chemotherapy
  • SACT qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work autonomously
