Job Description:

The Community & Allied Health Services Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, financial performance, and clinical governance of community aged care programs and allied health services. The role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred services while driving financial sustainability, service growth, and business development across Support at Home (SAH), Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), and allied health services, in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and funding requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide clinical and operational oversight to allied health services
  • Mentor multidisciplinary teams and manage performance
  • Serve as a key representative for the organization, building collaborative relationships
  • Provide high-level leadership to drive the achievement of organizational objectives
  • Maintain the financial health of community and allied health programs
  • Drive organizational expansion by identifying new opportunities
  • Oversee clinical governance frameworks and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Lead the delivery of SAH and CHSP services

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in health, allied health, nursing, management, social work or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated senior management experience in community aged care and/or allied health services
  • Strong knowledge of SAH, CHSP, Aged Care Quality Standards, and funding compliance
  • Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and business performance oversight
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and complex service delivery models

Nice to have:

  • Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility) in a relevant discipline
  • Postgraduate qualifications in health management, aged care, or business leadership
  • Demonstrated experience in service growth, business development, or change management
