We are looking for a skilled writer and strategic thinker that helps to bring Testia's external communication strategy to full effect. Your role as Communications Specialist will be to produce compelling content for external & internal communication. You will be working with an international team and on independent projects. Working in an international company, you will have a strong cross-cultural awareness and sensibility. You will also be able to find the right tone of voice depending on the targeted audience - be it an expert in their field or the general public.
Job Responsibility:
High-impact copywriting: crafting original, industry-specific content including whitepapers, technical application notes, and website articles that establish Testia as a thought leader
Bilingual narrative management: executing high-level communications in both English and German (C1 level/Native), ensuring cultural nuances are preserved across local and international outlets
Transcultural sensitivity: applying an inclusive, accessible writing style that resonates across international teams and diverse audiences
Data-driven content planning: conducting competitor analysis and keyword research to identify "white space" opportunities in the aerospace media landscape
Integrated media relations: managing the full lifecycle of PR content, from conceptualization to coordinating with social media leads for multi-channel amplification
Trend monitoring: staying at the forefront of online publishing and industry shifts to ensure Testia remains relevant and proactive
Campaign integration: collaborating with sales and marketing to ensure communication assets directly support lead generation and integrated marketing campaigns
Performance analytics: measuring the reach and effectiveness of communication efforts, translating data into actionable insights for the head of marketing
Requirements:
Degree in journalism, media, or marketing & communication
Language skills: English and German (native language, otherwise equal to CEFR level C1 or C2)
A minimum of 3 years in B2B comms, preferably in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing
Proven experience in content marketing
Capable to work in autonomy, deliver to deadlines, proactive, problem-solving and assertive
Outgoing and have excellent communication and writing skills
Skilled to use various text genres and media formats and can select the appropriate means of communication to address a given audience
Apply strong attention to detail and are well organized
Ability to understand technical topics and explain them to a general audience
Skills and methods to conceptualize, write and edit texts without the need to rely on generative LLMs (large language models)
Great awareness for transcultural communication, an inclusive writing style and a keen eye for accessibility
Feel at home in a collaborative environment, working together with colleagues from various fields (marketing, communications, sales, operations etc.) and are also able to take responsibility for independent projects
Open to occasional travel to European sites
Software skills: proficient in Google Workspace
experience with Canva/graphics software for quick visual storytelling
Nice to have:
Additional languages skills in French and/or Spanish are beneficial
An understanding of the aerospace industry would be a plus
Some SEO skills would be appreciated
