This is a hands-on summer role for someone who loves visual storytelling and wants to learn the behind-the-scenes side of how non-profits raise the funds that make their work possible. You’ll spend your time: Capturing our work in action — photographing and filming our Community Fisheries, Food Systems, and Community Energy projects in Prince Rupert, and producing at least one short video. Helping grow our fundraising — researching potential funders, keeping our donor database current, and helping shape a new philanthropic program (like planned giving or donor-advised funds). Supporting our communications — contributing to social media, exploring new digital storytelling tools, and collaborating with our Communications Manager and Director of Development. You don’t need fundraising experience — curiosity and solid research skills are enough. We’ll provide training and mentorship throughout the term.
