Carex is partnering with a Utility industry partner to find a Communications Project Manager who will support the development and execution of communications initiatives across multiple business functions. This role will focus on building, managing, and organizing scalable communications workflows and content systems while coordinating projects related to growth initiatives, HR programs, IT security, safety topics, and AI-related initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong project management expertise, exceptional communication skills, and experience leveraging AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to create, refine, and scale content. This individual will help improve the efficiency, consistency, and repeatability of communications processes while translating complex business topics into clear, actionable messaging for diverse stakeholders.
Job Responsibility
Coordinate the development and delivery of communications initiatives supporting growth and economic development efforts, employee benefits, performance management, change management, safety initiatives, IT security measures, data center operations, and AI-related growth initiatives
Manage and organize communications workflows that enable efficient content development, review, approval, and distribution across multiple internal audiences
Utilize AI and Large Language Model (LLM) tools to support content creation, editing, summarization, and message refinement while maintaining strategic messaging and brand consistency
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and repeatable communications processes that improve efficiency and content delivery
Lead communication projects from initiation through completion, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations
Utilize Adobe Workfront™ and Microsoft Planner to manage communication projects, workflows, approvals, and deadlines
Open and close project jobs, monitor schedules, identify potential delays, and communicate project updates to stakeholders
Ensure all communications align with Associated Press (AP) Style Guide standards, project requirements, and organizational guidelines
Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all communications materials
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support communications planning, execution, and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, project management, or a related field
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Experience working with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, or workflow management systems such as Workfront, HubSpot, or Microsoft Planner
Demonstrated ability to translate complex business concepts into clear, engaging, and structured communications
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work in fast-paced environments
Experience leveraging AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve content development and communications workflows
Proficiency in managing communication projects across multiple stakeholders and business functions
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, or a related field preferred
Experience supporting communications initiatives within a corporate or cross-functional environment preferred
Familiarity with prompt engineering, generative AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude, and responsible AI usage practices preferred
