Job Responsibility:
Develop engaging written, visual and video content across digital and print channels
Draft newsletters, website content, articles and social media copy
Source and shape news stories and opinion pieces
Maintain editorial schedules and ensure consistent tone of voice
Manage and update website content via CMS
Support ongoing website development and digital projects
Contribute to wider digital strategy including social and member platforms
Support delivery of marketing campaigns, events and brand initiatives
Coordinate and produce email marketing communications
Help raise visibility and engagement across key audiences
Act as a point of contact for media enquiries
Monitor sector news and identify opportunities for organisational voice
Track performance of digital channels and campaigns
Provide insights to inform future communications activity
Provide support across the wider communications function
Contribute to a collaborative, proactive team culture
Requirements:
1–2 years’ experience in a communications or content-focused role
Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
Experience using CMS platforms and Microsoft Office tools
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Strong team collaboration skills
Experience in a membership body, charity, or professional/technical environment
Nice to have:
Familiarity with CRM systems, SEO and/or design tools
Basic video production or editing capability
High attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
