Meta is seeking a highly motivated Communications Manager to create awareness and excitement for Reality Labs products. This person will work across an exciting range of products and services -- including AI Wearables and VR -- that are coming together to build the next computing platform. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about new technology, brings creativity, and writes well. This individual should have a track record of planning and executing announcements, working closely with earned media (reporters and creators), advising and/or executing on social media campaigns, and working cross-functionally across product, marketing and partners.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create strategic plans and campaigns to advance product adoption and company reputation
  • Tell compelling stories about our products and their impact on people across varied channels
  • Maintain and forge new relationships with media and creators
  • Support proactive communications work across seasonal moments and events
  • Think through integrated marketing communications across all channels, including owned, earned and social
  • Help shape the tone for Reality Labs to create messaging and tactics that will resonate with target audiences
  • Work directly with executives to shape how they can help advance our campaigns or narratives
  • Create content such key messaging, blogs, pitches, and other creative materials that evangelize various announcements and milestones
  • Lead press events, prepare spokespeople, and create briefing materials
  • Collaborate across multiple functions including engineering, product, marketing, content, and communications
  • Implement AI-tooling into daily workflows to drive efficiency and speed of impact

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in technology/entertainment public relations, or related field
