The communications expert will collaborate with cross-functional teams in the US and Canada to support the development of high impact, innovative, and compelling communications plans and execute a broad array of tactics and initiatives to strengthen awareness of SIG’s brand value proposition and enable the company’s sustainable growth in the North America region. This role will also support efforts to ensure company goals are clearly and consistently communicated to employees and other stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Support development and implementation of communications plan and editorial calendar
Ensure communication messages are consistent across all mediums/channels/audiences
Manage digital, social media, and marketing communications execution
Identify opportunities and develop various print and digital materials
Develop creative graphics/content for PowerPoint presentations, social media posts, and other written/graphic communications
Review and update digital ecosystem
Write and edit a wide variety of communications
Share approved communications using various channels
Plan, organize, and support industry tradeshows, company events, employee engagement activities
Maintain a calendar of events and manage the event planning process
Collaborate with departments to generate new ideas and strategies
Build relationships with leaders and peers
Support identification and tracking of key performance metrics
Collect and respond to feedback
Manage communication budget and relationships with external agencies and related vendors
Support communications and marketing efforts as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (MBA is a plus)
Professional experience (5-7 years) in internal communications and employee engagement, external and corporate communications, B2B and marketing communications, or an adjacent area
Experience in the CPG, FMCG, or food and beverage industry, preferable
