Under the direction of management, the Communications Coordinator I will support internal and external communications initiatives, including campaign messaging, media tracking, and event support. This role requires strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills, along with the ability to work independently with moderate guidance.
Job Responsibility
Draft communications materials to support campaigns and business initiatives
Provide daily communication updates as needed
Compile and maintain press lists and targeted media lists
Monitor media coverage and prepare press clip packages
Support coordination of special events and related communications efforts
Assist with reporting and documentation related to communications activities
Ensure adherence to applicable FCC regulations and compliance requirements
Requirements
1–2 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and macros (1–2 years preferred)
Ability to organize and manage media lists and communications tracking
Understanding of FCC regulations and compliance requirements
Ability to work independently with moderate supervision

Experience supporting corporate communications or campaign-based initiatives
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Experience compiling media monitoring reports or press summaries
Familiarity with business performance reporting or financial data tracking
