We are currently seeking an experienced Communications Consultant to join a major State Government entity. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality communication and stakeholder engagement strategies for large-scale transport infrastructure projects that impact the Western Australian community.
Job Responsibility:
Content Creation: Drafting media statements, newsletters, fact sheets, social media posts, and website content
Strategy Development: Designing and implementing tactical communication and stakeholder engagement plans
Stakeholder Liaison: Representing the agency at community meetings and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external project teams
Ministerial Support: Drafting content for Ministerial business, Parliamentary Questions, and briefing notes
Issues Management: Managing external customer enquiries, complaints, and escalated claims
Requirements:
Proven experience in developing and delivering communication materials within a complex project environment
Demonstrated ability to develop community education and communication campaigns
A background in Public Relations, Marketing, or Communications
Strong experience in writing formal correspondence, such as Ministerial responses and briefing notes
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to facilitate group meetings
