The Communications and Marketing Assistant plays a key role in supporting Navigo's storytelling, digital presence and community engagement. Working closely with the Communications Lead, you'll help plan and deliver creative content that reflects the voices, experiences and achievements of our staff and service users.
Job Responsibility:
Support the delivery of high quality, creative and effective communications and marketing activity
Content gathering across all sites
On site presence maintain a regular, visible presence across Navigo locations
Social media content creation
Digital communications
Support the management of trading arm social media accounts
Update websites with fresh, site based content
Liaise with external developers when required

English A Level or equivalent

Working knowledge of social media platforms
Experience of writing content for publication
Experience of working in a busy/demanding environment
A good understanding of marketing good practice
Sensitive to confidential environment
Understanding and knowledge of work policies and procedures
Understanding of NHS Confidentiality issues
Nice to have:
A relevant qualification in communications, journalism or marketing
Previous experience in NHS/public sector communications or marketing
Working within a change environment
Experience of scheduling/co-ordination activities and/or resources
Experience of website development and maintenance
Professional experience of managing social media
Working knowledge of advanced Adobe design software
