Requirements
Two to three years’ relevant experience in public relations communications, social media or a related field
Solid understanding of marketing and public relations principles
Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination methods
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Excellent listening skills with demonstrated interviewing skills
Good customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to build, maintain and strengthen relationships
Detail oriented with good organizational and time management skills
Good judgment skills
Goal-oriented, individual initiative with high performance standards
Demonstrated commitment to perform functions and tasks that require unpredictable schedules including weekends, holidays, early and late work hours
Strong computer and technology skills including proficiency in MS Office suite, video production and editing, and website content tools
Professional, business-like appearance
Ability to travel within the State
Valid driver’s license for the State of Hawaii and own vehicle
