Job Description:

Brook is looking for a dynamic Communications & Campaigns Manager to lead impactful, multi channel communications that improve sexual health and wellbeing outcomes for young people and diverse communities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead impactful, multi channel communications that improve sexual health and wellbeing outcomes for young people and diverse communities
  • Report to the Assistant Director of Communications and Digital
  • Manage a small team
  • Drive health promotion campaigns that challenge taboos and empower people to take control of their sexual health
  • Lead the development compelling content that amplifies the impact of Brook’s work and builds support for our mission with funders and supporters

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in the field of communications and ability to demonstrate practical knowledge of a broad range of communications activities – including media, publications, marketing, social media and events
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering multi-channel campaigns that speak to a wide variety of audiences in either a health promotion, advocacy or fundraising context content strategies
  • Experience of managing both organic and paid social media channels
  • Experience of charity fundraising campaigns and planning events
  • Line management experience of a team
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills with the ability to quickly create a positive impression
  • Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent capability
  • Awareness of issues affecting people in the area of sexual health, gender identification and personal relationships
