Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Communication Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role encompasses both internal and external communication efforts, requiring a strong foundation in graphic design and digital content creation. The ideal candidate will support a variety of communication and marketing initiatives across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent and effective messaging.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and execute communication strategies for both internal and external audiences
Create and edit content for print and digital platforms using tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva
Maintain and update the organization's website, ensuring its content is accurate, engaging, and functional
Provide support for marketing initiatives, including crafting compelling messaging for digital campaigns
Utilize graphic design expertise to produce visually appealing materials, including brochures, reports, and presentations
Collaborate with various teams to align communications with organizational goals and initiatives
Assist with general marketing efforts, ensuring projects are executed on time and meet quality standards
Monitor and manage multiple communication projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and priorities

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Canva
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft clear and engaging messages
Demonstrated experience in graphic and digital design, with a strong portfolio of past work
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet tight deadlines
Familiarity with website content management and updates
Experience in corporate communications or copywriting is highly desirable
Knowledge of communication planning and strategy development
