Job Description:

As a Communication Partner, you take the communication direction and bring it to life in your focus area. Your tactical skills and hands-on communication abilities make you an invaluable communication coach, as well as a pragmatic partner. You enable colleagues to use communication in the best ways to reach their desired business results – and you make sure they can measure the impact and improve the next time around, too. This role is dedicated to the Leadership Area of Retail Experience, in Retail Concept. Within this assignment you will contribute with anything from communication planning, to stakeholder management, to communication competence development, to channel strategy, and you are part of the Retail Experience Management team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement communication plans for co-worker and retailer target groups, aligned with Inter IKEA Group's corporate direction, the Retail Concept priorities, as well as the assignments of the Leadership Area of Retail Experience
  • Find ways to create co-worker and stakeholder engagement and trust
  • Coach and support leaders to lead with communication
  • Plan, produce, and publish content on different communication platforms, promoting the engagement of target groups, as well as ensuring consistency and clarity
  • Be an active partner within driving the communication agenda forward, and proactively helping the Retail Experience team to continuously improve the impact of their business
  • Work closely together with many stakeholders within the communication function across Inter IKEA Group and with the IKEA retailers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of communication within a global corporate environment, with proficiency in utilizing various communication tools and platforms
  • Ability to make complex information simple to understand for all audiences within the organisation
  • Excellent communication skills, with an eye for detail
  • Strong written, visual, and spoken communication skills and the ability to communicate in an inspiring way, in line with the IKEA tone of voice
  • Up-to-date knowledge on digital communication channels
  • Strong project management skills with a creative mindset and a wish to deliver with excellence
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships across a diverse group of people
  • Self-starter with a pioneering spirit
  • able to take ownership
  • Experience in change management
  • Hands-on approach, capable of quickly switching between strategic, tactical thinking, and operational work
  • Understanding the key target group for Retail Experience
  • the IKEA retailers
  • Experience of working in a Management team
