Job Description

The Communications Lead is responsible for developing and executing impactful internal and external communications strategies that strengthen the company’s reputation, increase employee engagement, support business priorities, and amplify key initiatives across multiple channels. This role leads communication planning, content development, media coordination, social media activation, internal campaign execution, leadership communications, and digital platform management. The Communications Lead ensures consistent, clear, engaging, and corporate identity-aligned messaging across all audiences, including employees, leadership, partners, media, and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibility

  • Design and execute internal communication campaigns that support business priorities, employee engagement, culture, and change management
  • Draft and cascade internal messages across platforms such as Viva Engage, email, intranet/news platforms, closed Facebook group, digital screens, and internal newsletters
  • Partner with functions and business leaders to translate complex updates into clear, concise, and engaging messages
  • Support communication for key internal programs
  • Promote cross-functional initiatives and departmental updates to increase awareness and alignment across the organization
  • Plan and manage content for corporate social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant channels
  • Grow and engage digital communities through organic content strategies and campaign activations
  • Increase posting frequency, content quality, and audience engagement across external platforms
  • Use social media management tools such as Hootsuite to streamline approvals, scheduling, and publishing
  • Monitor social media performance and prepare regular reports on reach, engagement, and growth
  • Manage and optimize internal communication platforms, including Viva Engage, Viva Amplify, intranet/news platforms, and digital communication channels
  • Introduce and roll out new communication tools that improve efficiency, reach, and engagement
  • Track performance across platforms, including reach, unique viewers, engagement, posting frequency, and time spent per user
  • Continuously improving channel effectiveness based on data and employee feedback
  • Develop and execute external communication plans that enhance company reputation
  • Manage communications for strategic partnerships, sustainability initiatives, CSR programs, and corporate campaigns
  • Coordinate with agencies, and internal stakeholders to maximize reach and ensure accurate message delivery
  • Track, analyze, and report media coverage, reach, and communication performance
  • Support senior leadership communication through content planning and message drafting, and platform engagement
  • Drive participation in employee surveys and organizational engagement initiatives through targeted communication plans
  • Develop communication toolkits, teasers, FAQs, leadership talking points, and campaign materials
  • Ensure communication reaches all employee segments, including frontline teams, business developers, line operators, and office-based employees
  • Strengthen two-way communication and employee engagement through platforms such as Viva Engage and other internal channels

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4–7 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, advertising or media
  • Strong experience in writing, editing, campaign planning, and stakeholder management
  • Experience managing communication platforms, social media channels, and media relations
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic, written and spoken
  • Strong understanding of corporate branding, tone of voice, and reputation management
