Job Description:

Non-paid academic internship for students looking to complete the program requirements; a minimum of 12 weeks starting January or February; role involves responsibility for internal communication tasks and supporting various campaigns; involves using digital tools and collaborating across teams.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for different internal communication assignments
support with the weekly newsletter, from briefing to drafting articles, proofreading, and sending the newsletter
contribute to the development and delivery of communication projects
define, plan, create/execute and follow up on internal communications activities
ensure good interaction with the unit and adapt to local culture.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of communication methods and processes
deep interest for digital communication tools and evolutions of ways of working
strong communication skills in French or Dutch, and English
proven education in strategic communications or equivalent
ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of communication as an integrated part
ability to communicate verbally, visually, and in writing in an inspirational way
autonomy and teamwork skills
proactive attitude and hands-on approach
up-to-date with communication trends and principles
willingness to travel across Belgium to different units.
