Job Description

Non-paid academic internship for students looking to complete the program requirements; a minimum of 12 weeks starting January or February; role involves responsibility for internal communication tasks and supporting various campaigns; involves using digital tools and collaborating across teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for different internal communication assignments
  • support with the weekly newsletter, from briefing to drafting articles, proofreading, and sending the newsletter
  • contribute to the development and delivery of communication projects
  • define, plan, create/execute and follow up on internal communications activities
  • ensure good interaction with the unit and adapt to local culture.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of communication methods and processes
  • deep interest for digital communication tools and evolutions of ways of working
  • strong communication skills in French or Dutch, and English
  • proven education in strategic communications or equivalent
  • ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of communication as an integrated part
  • ability to communicate verbally, visually, and in writing in an inspirational way
  • autonomy and teamwork skills
  • proactive attitude and hands-on approach
  • up-to-date with communication trends and principles
  • willingness to travel across Belgium to different units.
