Job Responsibility:

Lead, coach and develop a high performing team that actively contributes to the unit goals, whilst securing succession
Play a pivotal role as part of the Senior Store Management team and act as a commercial business partner to proactively contribute to the local and national business plan and growth plan
Create and secure the visual identity of the store and play an active role as the creative director to inspire our customers and co-workers through home furnishing
Secure and champion inspiring range presentation solutions, an optimal store layout and effective and efficient store communication that builds the IKEA Brand and distance IKEA from the competition
Lead and secure the implementation of local and global solutions within the store in collaboration with your team
Build and deliver the IKEA retail foundation whilst contributing to establishing and strengthening test and try
Support the store operationally and be responsible for Duty Manager shifts in store where required

Requirements:

Experienced and have sound knowledge of Interior Design, Visual Merchandising and Graphic Design
An experienced senior leader with ability to lead and develop successful high performing teams
An inspirational leader with strong stakeholder management skills to influence and drive the growth agenda by maintaining customer focus and inspiration whilst maximising profitability
Inherently driven, solution-focused and believe in challenging and finding ways to inspire our customer and co-workers through meeting and exceeding their needs
Passionate and knowledgeable about Life at Home, current home furnishing trends, brand and visual identity
Inspired, motivated and driven to position IKEA as a leading home furnishing retailer in the local market
