We are now on an exciting journey to strengthen how we work with commercial communication across the IKEA value chain. As part of this journey, we are establishing a new Commercial Communication function within Range - acting as a strategic global gearbox for Marketing in IKEA, in close collaboration with teams across Range, Retail and IKEA Marketing & Communication. Range Commercial Communication will play an important role in delivering on the IKEA strategies and growth agenda, with the purpose to strengthen the IKEA Brand and drive commercial performance. Together, we will create clear, impactful and consistent communication that supports both business growth and meaningful customer experiences across markets and touchpoints. This role is positioned in Range Commercial Communication. You will be reporting to the Range Commercial Communication Manager. Our team is based in Älmhult. We believe that your presence with the team and working the majority of the time in the workplace is important.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the Common Content portfolio end-to-end
  • Define, plan, assign, approve, and follow up on all Common Content deliveries across IKEA Retailers—ensuring high quality, on-time, and cost-efficient execution aligned to business priorities
  • Steer performance, priorities, and investments
  • Manage the full portfolio, including budget and performance, balancing impact, cost, and delivery to support the IKEA Growth Plan
  • Turn insights into impactful content
  • Lead portfolio planning by combining consumer insights, creative direction, range priorities, and product selection into clear, customer-centric content directions

  • Continuously develop and evolve Common Content to increase relevance, engagement, and effectiveness across channels and markets

Requirements

  • Strong experience in leading and creating retail Marketing plans, preferably in an IKEA market
  • Proven experience leading global marketing communication for large brands—from strategy and concept to execution
  • Strong understanding of how insights, strategy, planning, and creative come together to create impact
  • Extensive experience in leading teams and influencing stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments
