Job Description:

Our client, a prominent global player in the semiconductor sector, is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Commodity Manager in Singapore. The successful applicant will be responsible for the strategic procurement of assembly and testing equipment.

Job Responsibility:

Monitor industry trends and supplier risk profiles to develop long-term supplier engagement strategies for assigned categories
Identify and source new business partners to align with the evolving needs of the organization
Formulate and implement strategies that drive continuous cost savings while ensuring quality and reliability of supply
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand long-term business needs and support strategic planning to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
Plan and lead negotiations for tenders, contracts, and strategic partnerships to ensure optimal value for the organization

Requirements:

Preferably individuals with over 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing
Extensive experience in sourcing and supplier onboarding
Bachelor Degree
