Job Responsibility:

Present business case for supplier recommendation to Leadership, Proposals, Projects, and Operations teams to ensure ‘buy in’ on supplier selections and technologies
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to understand material needs and specifications
Assist in the preparation of tender submissions by providing relevant information as required
Work collaboratively with Estimation and Procurement to achieve effective production plans/schedules
Support cross-functional teams in new product development and process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

Total experience of 10+ years
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commodity management (Pumps, Energy Recovery, packaged systems) or experience working for pump manufacturer in technical Sales or Engineering role
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, sourcing strategies, and market analysis
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience with contract management and supplier performance evaluation
Three or more years of purchasing/commodity management experience
Intermediate skills in sourcing and negotiations
Utilizes data and info to determine timelines and commitments
Executes activities to project plan
Ability to complete projects and accomplish goals regardless of obstacles
Successfully engages and gets buy in from integral stakeholders
Able to manage competing and changing objectives
Understands stakeholder objectives and translates to experience
