Opportunity Overview To manage assigned commodities and lead cross functional teams to solve supplied material issues (commercial, technical, quality etc). Assure Continuity of Supply so that Teradyne can maintain On Time Customer Delivery in Very Cyclical Environment with Long Product Life Cycles. Drive Strategic Direction for the Commodity including who we work with (the supplier's), where they are located, the type of value they provide, and the continuous improvement of their performance. Lead an extended commodity team - which includes quality engineering, product engineering, marketing, factory support, NPI, and other interested parties. Continuously improve R3CQ - Responsiveness, Reliability, Resiliency of the Products and Services, Cost Down, and Quality. Utilize the various tools at the disposal of the commodity manager to foster these improvements: Commodity Plans Capacity Analysis/Planning Scorecards Penetration into expanding supply markets in SEA – Vietnam, Thailand, India and Indonesia SBR (Supplier Business Reviews) Support Cost Reviews (assure factory/subcontract costs are correct)

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business and/or Engineering
Understands complex supply relations
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management (internal and external)
Project Management Skills
Negotiation Skills and Hands on Experience
Ability to Interpret Mechanical drawings and component specifications
Experience working with stakeholders from multiple geographic locations, USA, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Europe
