Job Description:

Direct material supplier identification and assessment from purchasing point of view; Sending RFQ & sourcing of components for new projects through negotiations; Responsible for projects procurement (Target to meet KPI) - Direct materials; Monitor new parts development with respect to project milestone; Provide cost estimations to support new project acquisitions; Regular interface with counterparts in business groups in Germany; Recording and releasing purchase orders and tracking them for revision & maintain BOM cost; Benchmark prices from competitor’s product & drive cost saving projects; Series business – cost reduction and optimization/localization; Drive purchasing activities to maintain profitability of project throughout lifetime
