Job Responsibility

  • Manage (mainly) stamping commodity for Brose India
  • Supplier identification and assessment from purchasing point of view
  • Sending RFQ for components for new projects
  • Quotation analysis and negotiation with the suppliers
  • Raw Material and Component purchase
  • Market search for equivalent Indian raw material
  • Indian purchase reporting to central teams
  • Weekly interface with counterparts in the material groups in Germany
  • Recording and releasing purchase orders and tracking them for revision
  • Benchmark prices from competition
  • Current business – cost reduction and optimization Yearly cost negotiation with current suppliers
  • Idenfity and approval of new suppliers
  • Driving localistion of imported parts for current and new projects

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 to 17 years (Automotive)
  • Negotiations, Contracts, SAP
  • BE (Mechanical)
