Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced technology leader to drive the design, delivery and continuous improvement of the RIVA Commissions platform. This role focuses on ensuring accurate, compliant and scalable commission outcomes across markets while enabling innovation through cloud-native engineering on Google Cloud Platform. The individual will collaborate with senior stakeholders across business, finance and technology to deliver strategic outcomes aligned to Vodafone's priorities.

Job Responsibility

  • Own end-to-end accountability for the RIVA Commissions platform, including configuration, calculation, reconciliation and integrations
  • Ensure commission processes meet business, regulatory, audit and financial control requirements across markets
  • Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure and resilient cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform
  • Provide architectural direction across data ingestion, processing, orchestration and analytics layers
  • Promote engineering excellence through CI/CD, automation, observability and high-quality code practices
  • Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Translate business requirements into clear delivery plans and measurable outcomes
  • Manage prioritisation, planning and dependencies across multiple workstreams
  • Proactively manage risks, issues and escalations with transparent communication
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards including audit, SOX and data protection requirements
  • Define and track service KPIs to ensure platform performance, accuracy and stability

Requirements

  • Experienced in technology leadership roles within large and complex organisations
  • Knowledgeable in commission, incentive or financial calculation platforms
  • Skilled in GCP-native data and analytics services, with hands-on exposure to modern data platforms such as Databricks
  • Capable of managing senior stakeholders across business and technology domains
  • Adept at analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Familiar with Agile and PI-based delivery models
  • Understanding of audit and financial control frameworks
  • Experience within telecommunications, retail or regulated financial environments
