Requirements

Minimum 1 full project as Commissioning Supervisor on a Vestas wind project
4–5 years of Vestas Commissioning
Valid Vestas Installation Level B certification
Vestas SIT Training (mandatory)
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Familiarity with wind turbine systems, safety procedures, and commissioning protocols
Must be eligible to work in the United States

Job Responsibility

Oversee and execute commissioning tasks for wind turbine systems (Vestas)
Ensure safety compliance and coordination across commissioning teams
Lead toolbox talks, quality briefings, and daily planning meetings
Liaise with site management and client representatives to align on project targets
Support reporting, documentation, and handover packages
Troubleshoot and resolve technical commissioning issues
Supervise energization and grid compliance procedures
Promote continuous improvement and safe working practices on site

Job Responsibility

To develop the detailed pre-commissioning procedures for Instrument Items & Packages, procedures for the functional tests of the Instrument Items according to the instructions of Commissioning Instrument Superintendent
Coordinate the activities of the Instrumental specialist CIA, CLC
To field check the DAC and prepare relevant Commissioning punch list, following the CME instructions
Monitor and ensure the activities are carried out in accordance with the procedures and requirements
To organize and manage the operations in field of the assigned team from the Sub Contractor by controlling their job and the implementation of Plant Safety procedures in case of emergency
Support the Vendors specialists in the execution of the job and coordinate their actions with the Commissioning supervisors
Supervise the works of vendors’ specialists and ensure their efficient utilization
Ensure all safety rules are in force and are followed in field
To keep records of all activities performed in the log book for the purpose of monitoring the progress achieved and apply necessary recovery actions
To ensure that all the activities are witnessed by the Client, prepare and sign off all relevant certificates and hand over to certification engineer
