We are seeking a Commissioning Manager who demonstrates a passion to work collaboratively with our client teams to deliver their complex infrastructure projects to time, cost and quality with a commitment to safety.
Job Responsibility:
Strong leadership skills with outcome focused collaborative behaviours
Successful management, oversight and delivery of commissioning work packages within complex infrastructure programmes for all allocated systems within the area of accountability
Line management of a commissioning team in terms of safety, performance, conduct and output
Application of robust commissioning/engineering management processes and procedures ensuring coherence from the work package scope through to system level close out including interface management
Management and implementation of commissioning stakeholder engagement plans
Ensure safe procedures are applied consistently across the allocated work packages
Prepare and present regular commissioning progress updates
Management of changes to commissioning schedules, resources and forecasts
Chair commissioning reviews with stakeholders including design reviews, change reviews and procedure reviews
Resource planning for the commissioning team and implementation of a Suitably Qualified and Experience Personnel (SQEP) valuation process
Requirements:
Substantial experience of commissioning large facilities and managing commissioning teams to deliver successful outcomes
Proven track record in complex project delivery, in defence (preferred) or similar technical sectors
Strong client and stakeholder relationship building skills
Demonstrable knowledge and application of commissioning methodologies
Ability to operate both autonomously and as part of a larger team
Flexibility to travel and work in different sectors and clients
Excellent oral and written communication and organisation skills
