We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new luxury care home near Wolverhampton, offering specialist nursing, dementia, and residential care. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new service, recruit and develop a dedicated team, and ensure the home delivers the highest standards of care.

Job Responsibility

  • Commission and operationally lead the new service, covering nursing, dementia, and residential care
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing staff team to deliver outstanding care
  • Ensure CQC readiness from day one, embedding strong governance and compliance frameworks
  • Drive occupancy and financial performance, ensuring long-term success and sustainability
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, residents, families, and other key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Home Manager or in senior care management
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
  • Nurse-qualified (RGN/RMN) preferred, with strong clinical and operational oversight
  • A proven track record in CQC compliance, team development, and driving occupancy
  • Strong leadership, communication, and commercial skills
