Job Description:

We are looking for a Commissioning Manager - Telecom for one of our clients. The service holder will ensure that all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in his Package are prepared and executed according to OPERCOM® methodology and ICAPS© Mobi web in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to the planned schedule. This role involves close coordination with the EPCC package commissioning manager.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise EPCC Contractors construction activities, in order that the field activities are completed (AOC reached) as per the Project schedule
  • Ensure that all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in his Package are prepared and executed according to OPERCOM® methodology and ICAPS© Mobi web in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to the planned schedule
  • Manage and expedite the review and approval process of the EPCC contractor commissioning plans and procedures
  • Report the project pre-commissioning and commissioning progress
  • Manage and coordinate the package commissioning supervision
  • Support the coordination of commissioning interface points
  • Oversee the reviews and approval of the commissioning dossiers
  • Ensure smooth coordination with the Manufacturing organization
  • Ensure that the Project Commissioning is done according to COMPANY specifications and that OPERCOM® methodology and ICAPS© are consistently implemented across different site activities with various interfacing between packages
  • Ensure a smooth handover to operations
  • Anticipate or identify problem areas or potential conflicts (within the Company)

Requirements:

  • Experience in Telecom and Security
  • Good knowledge of erection work execution
  • Advanced relevant construction work experience, preferable in Middle East Oil & Gas industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards
  • Interpersonal skills: ability to work with others in collaborative manner
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously and ability to manage changing priorities
  • Experience in integrated projects and joint Venture organizations
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental aspects of major construction projects
  • Ability to adapt to changes and to work in an international multi-cultural project environment, to cope in a positive and productive manner within intensive environment. Interpersonal skills, rigor, and analytical mind
  • Ability to work as a member of a project Team, to liaise, coordinate and positively communicate with the involved different Parties (Contractors, project Entities, auditors, other disciplines representatives, experts, project people, PMT EPCC packages, etc.)
