Job Description:

We are looking for a Commissioning Manager – Site for one of our clients with the following details: Start Date: ASAP, Contract Duration: 12 Months, Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (On site)

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinating with the Commissioning Engineers and ensuring the development of Pre‑Commissioning Documents such as Pre‑Commissioning/Commissioning Plan & Commissioning Philosophy during the planning phase
  • Liaison with Implementation Contractor Pre‑Commissioning/Commissioning Team to ensure seamless teamwork
  • Coordinate with Implementation Contractor to ensure all construction activities are completed before system handover for pre‑commissioning and ensure safety procedures are in place before commissioning begins
  • Carry out detailed assessments of commissioning work, resources, and constraints
  • Organize manpower resources with the Implementation Contractor according to the project plan and develop the Pre‑Commissioning/Commissioning organization chart
  • Provide guidance to the Commissioning team for preparing procedures/method statements for demolition and commissioning, to be approved by COMPANY
  • Supervise Implementation Engineers in preparing commissioning procedures and ensuring all safety and precautionary requirements are followed
  • Hold regular safety meetings with Implementation Contractor Commissioning Team and COMPANY PMT members
  • Review reports generated by Commissioning Engineers and provided support and technical guidance as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualification: Undergraduate
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 15 years
  • Language: English
  • Working Experience: GCC country
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and project management tools
