Job Description

Commissioning Manager – Complex Care at Home. Business Development - Community Complex Care. Hybrid – Office and Field Based. £55,000 + £5,000 car allowance + KPI bonuses. Basingstoke / London Regions. Mon – Fri. Compass Associates is partnering alongside an established Complex Care at Home provider who are continuous in their course for growth and expansion, the organisation provides specialist care in the community for adults and children with complex health needs (those with long term health conditions, life limiting conditions). They have an excellent reputation in the sector with back to back Good CQC ratings and a longstanding clinical leadership team. Together, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager or Sales Professional with experience in the specialist healthcare sector to help achieve this vision of progress.

Job Responsibility

  • Developing and managing relationships with ICBs and local commissioners to secure new care packages and oversee their mobilisation
  • 75% sales-focused, with 25% project management responsibilities ensuring the packages are delivered on alongside an established clinical team
  • Promote the organisation effectively
  • Lead on new business directives including Bid and Tender preparations
  • Lead the full sales process for the organisation

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of the intricacies of complex care in the home, brain injuries, learning disabilities and high acuity packages in the community and overall process of beginning to end of the commissioning cycle
  • Proven track record, previous experience winning ICB Tenders or Contracts
  • Connections with existing ICBs across the UK
  • Excellent communication skills, both with internal and external stakeholders including the family members (within the organisation’s cases)
  • Target driven and commercial mindset
  • Willingness to travel and be present in the offices
  • Clear DBS and Driver’s License
