Deliver a sustainable future with WA’s landmark urea project! This role is on a 19:9 rotation to our Perdaman project in Karratha, WA. Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering the Project ‘CERES’ urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities. We are currently searching for Mechanical Supervisor within the Commissioning scope to join our site-based team on Project Ceres. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing activities on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and labour teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and timeline.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure that the services are carried out in strict compliance with Company and Client current HSE rules
Plan Preventive and Corrective Maintenance operations (routine and short-term)
Coordinate all Contractor personnel for the smooth execution of the services
Anticipate, plan and request the logistical means necessary for smooth maintenance operations, considering the various constraints when planning and carrying out operations
Take part of site coordination meetings
Ensure the Preparation of Maintenance reports for submission to Company
Ensure the movement of spare parts according to the requirements of Maintenance operations
Check and validate all technical reports in CMMS and ensure work history is comprehensively recorded in line with CMMS data quality requirements
Supervise and lead all operating and maintenance procedures
Lead team, organising own schedules/rotations and evaluating trades
Keep an up-to-date list of works that cannot be performed except during inspections of machines or shutdowns
Requirements:
Ability to work on a 19:9 rotation to site (Karratha)
Proven experience in supervising in a commissioning/maintenance context
Experience working on greenfield & brownfield projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of SMP systems, safety protocols, and industry standards
