Job Description

Monocle has a vacancy for a commissioning editor who can generate stories for print, our daily newsletters and monocle.com, and assist on some content-led commercial projects. We are looking for someone with at least five years of relevant experience. We are looking for an all-rounder who can find new contributors, generate story ideas, edit copy at pace and work with the art and photo teams to deliver great reports on page. This is a position that also offers the opportunity to write, appear on Monocle Radio and attend events and conferences representing Monocle. The hours vary according to deadlines and there will be occasions when you will need to travel outside the UK. Monocle is a fast-growing and exciting company to work for. We value collaboration and interaction with our colleagues and our clients. We work on unique, global projects alongside our enormously talented international team. This full-time role is based in our London office, Midori House.
